Pinnacle Tuning – BMW F Series DCT Gearbox Service

BMW M2 (OG F87)
BMW M2 Competition (F87)
BMW M3 / M4 (F80 / F82)
BMW M5 / M6 (F10 / F11)
BMW X5M / X6M (F97)
 
BMW often class these gearboxes as “sealed for life”, however from our experience — especially on tuned or performance-driven vehicles — regular servicing is strongly recommended. We advise servicing the DCT gearbox approximately every 5 years or 50,000 miles, depending on vehicle use, driving style, and power output.
This service includes:
Genuine BMW side filter replacement
Genuine BMW suction filter replacement
Genuine BMW sump pan with new bolts
Millers CRX NT+ DCT gearbox oil
Gearbox oil level set and checked to BMW specification
 
During the service, the gearbox sump is removed to allow the gearbox to be drained as thoroughly as possible. The suction filter and sump pan are replaced, followed by the side filter replacement. The gearbox is then refilled with the correct specification oil and the oil level is set precisely according to BMW procedures.
 
This service helps maintain smooth gear changes, protects internal gearbox components, and is highly recommended for both standard and tuned BMW M vehicles.
